Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Roli LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates PopsicleAI. By creating an account or using PopsicleAI, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use PopsicleAI for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you’re allowed to.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Taking part in an interview as a participant doesn’t require an account. Participants are covered by the Privacy Policy and by whatever the researcher who invited them has told them.

PopsicleAI lets researchers run interviews moderated by an AI interviewer by voice or chat, and then review the recordings, transcripts and AI-generated findings.

AI can make mistakes. Interview questions, transcripts, summaries and findings may be incomplete or wrong, so review them before relying on them. We may change, add or remove features over time.

Keep your login details and API keys secure, and tell us if you think someone has accessed your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

A workspace owner can invite teammates. Teammates can see and edit the workspace’s studies, recordings and findings, and their interviews use the owner’s minutes. The owner is responsible for who they invite and for the workspace’s billing.

You decide who you interview and what you ask, so you’re responsible for running your research lawfully and fairly. In particular, you must:

• Tell participants they’ll be talking to an AI interviewer, that the session is recorded and transcribed, and how you’ll use what they say.
• Get any consent the law requires, including consent to record where all parties must agree.
• Not interview anyone under 16, and not ask for sensitive information such as health, financial or government ID details unless you have a lawful basis and participants have agreed.
• Handle participants’ data according to your own privacy notice and applicable law, and respond to their requests about it. We’ll help where we can.

Don’t use PopsicleAI to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Deceive, harass or harm participants, or collect information under false pretenses.
• Send spam, including through team invites.
• Upload malware or content you don’t have the right to use.
• Try to get around security or usage limits, access others’ data, or overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.
• Build a competing product using the service or its outputs.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

PopsicleAI is paid in interview minutes. Current prices are on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Voice interviews are billed per second, and sessions under a minute are free. A chat interview uses a flat 4 minutes, or nothing if the participant gives fewer than 3 answers.
• Plans renew monthly until you cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period. Unused plan minutes carry over for one extra month, then expire.
• Minute packs expire 12 months after purchase. Free trial minutes expire 30 days after they’re added.
• If overage is on, interviews can continue past your balance at the overage rate, up to the monthly cap you set.
• Prices don’t include taxes, which may be added where required.

Payments aren’t refundable except where the law requires it. Sessions that fail because of a problem on our side are not charged. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. If a payment fails, we may pause new interviews until it’s resolved.

You keep ownership of your studies, uploads, recordings, transcripts and findings. You give us permission to host, process and transmit them only as needed to provide PopsicleAI to you, including through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

PopsicleAI, including its software, design and brand, belongs to Roli LLC. These terms let you use it; they don’t transfer any ownership to you.

If you connect PopsicleAI to other tools, for example through our API or MCP integration, those tools are governed by their own terms and you’re responsible for what they do with your data.

You can stop using PopsicleAI at any time. To close your account, email george@notifications.waithub.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or doesn’t pay. Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first. Sections 7 and 10 to 13 continue after an account is closed.

PopsicleAI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to PopsicleAI is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.

You’ll defend and compensate us against claims arising from your studies, your content, or your use of PopsicleAI in breach of these terms or the law. This includes claims that you didn’t get participants’ consent.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, and both parties agree to those courts’ jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

We may update these terms. We’ll post changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we’ll also email account holders before it takes effect. If you keep using PopsicleAI after that, you accept the new terms. Questions about these terms can go to george@notifications.waithub.app.
