Recording statuses and processing
What each status means, and how long a recording takes to be ready.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | The participant signed up but the session hasn’t started. |
| Recording / Recording in progress | The interview is happening now. |
| Processing video | The interview ended and the video is being prepared. This usually takes a few minutes; the page updates by itself. |
| Completed | Ready to watch and read. |
| Failed | The recording couldn’t be saved. The transcript may still be available. |
If a recording says “Failed to load video”, choose Retry. If it still won’t play after processing has finished, email us with the study and participant name.
