Running interviews responsibly

What we ask of researchers: tell participants about the AI and the recording, get consent, and don’t interview children.

  • Tell participants they’ll be talking to an AI interviewer and that the session is recorded, and get their consent. Your participant instructions are a good place for it.
  • Don’t interview anyone under 16. Account holders must be 18 or older.
  • Only ask for what you need, and delete interviews you no longer need.
  • If a participant asks you to delete their interview, delete the recording.
