Create a study

Choose New study on your dashboard. The form has four parts; the first three are required.

1. What do you want to learn?

• Study title: for you and your team, up to 200 characters. Participants don’t see it.
• Research goal: one or two sentences on what you want to learn, up to 1,000 characters. The AI uses it to draft your interview guide.

2. Interview guide

What the interviewer should cover, up to 5,000 characters. Write it yourself or choose Generate with AI. See Write an interview guide.

3. How the interview runs

• Format: Voice or Chat only. See Voice or chat interviews.
• Max session length: 5 to 30 minutes (30 by default). The AI wraps up when time is up.
• Max participants: 1 to 100 (5 by default). See Session length and participant limits.
• Language: the language the interviewer speaks, and optionally others participants can choose. See Interview languages.

4. What participants see (optional)

• Participant instructions: shown before the interview. See Participant instructions and intro video.
• Intro video: an optional video to play before they join.
• Show during the interview: images, videos, websites or prototypes the AI can put on the participant’s screen. See Show images, videos and prototypes.

Choose Create study. You land on the study page with the participant link ready to share.
